I specialize in providing photography and cinematography services to individuals, businesses, and organizations. ASHES is a project done in collaboration with a dance team in Baltimore City, Synergy Dance Team. The central theme of the piece is, can something beautiful arise from the world’s current situation? This piece was captured in the fall of 2020.
On this project I fulfilled the roles of Producer, Cinematographer, and Lead Editor. The project began by capturing b-roll or supporting footage to be used throughout the final deliverable. The project also made use of short informal interviews, or blurbs. The idea was for the interviews to be authentic, and were filmed within the teaching environment. The blurbs were used to introduce pieces, give parents insight on what their children were doing in class, and showed how the studio was overcoming obstacles. This, plus the b-roll gave a cinematic, clean, and impactful look. The final project was broken into five sections organized by age.
Prestige is a restaurant located in downtown Baltimore. Myla McLeod Videography was able to use company skills to to produce this captivating and engaging promotion.

On this project I fulfilled roles in all stages of production, and was Lead Editor. This project involved extensive pre-production planning and collaboration with Maryland Tourism. This project also involved capturing interviews, b-roll, and editing hours of footage into a smaller deliverable.
